
Dan St. Hilaire currently serves on the Concord City Council as Mayor Pro Tem.
He is the former Merrimack County Attorney, the county's top law enforcement official. As County Attorney, Dan implemented the FAST Program--a widely acclaimed drug and alcohol program for first time offenders. This program was entirely supported by participant fees and not tax payer dollars.
He served on the U.S. Attorney's Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council and Project Safe Neighborhoods.
Prior to that, Dan St. Hilaire was a prosecutor for the City of Concord and an attorney for the NH Department of Safety.
He was appointed by Governor Lynch to serve on the Death Penalty Study Commission and the Licensing Board for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors. He was appointed by Governor Benson to the Board of Commissioners for the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center. He is President of the Board of Directors for Touch the Future, Inc., and a member of the Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Mental Health Council.
